Marc Forster seems like an odd choice to be directing a zombie film, especially one based on a very popular book. He made several great independent films, including Finding Neverland and Monster’s Ball, before jumping into the mainstream light with the disappointing Quantum of Solace.
Currently, Forster is working on finalizing the Gerard Butler vehicle, Machine Gun Preacher, and filming the adaptation of Max Brooks’ World War Z.
The Daily Mail just released new photos from the set of the film, which stars Brad Pitt as the film’s protagonist Gerry Lane. Pitt will be joined by Mireille Enos, James Badge Dale and Anthony Mackie.
