Following up on a recent live remix of Porter Robinson and Madeon’s “Shelter,” the Fool’s Gold Records boss has been featured as the latest DJ in command at Boiler Room in Brooklyn, and during his set, he dropped an hour long mix of hip-hop, trap, house and more, all seamlessly mixed into a continuous barrage of beats and bass.

Sticking to his vinyl convictions, A-Trak delivers the set before the packed crowd with two turntables, a mixer and some MIDI pads for launching clips. Far from a “press play” DJ, the producer keeps his hands on the decks throughout the set, putting his dedication to the art of mixing on full display while delivering a routine that doesn’t disappoint.
