Revealed earlier this year, Battlefield 1, the newest entry in the long-running series from developer DICE, is set to release in just a couple of months. Turning back the clock, Battlefield 1 is set to take place against the bloody backdrop of World War I, complete with trench warfare, combat on horseback, and weapons and gadgets from the early 20th century.
Today, publisher Electronic Arts has shed some light on what will be coming with the Premium Pass for the game. Costing $50, the pass will include four digital expansion packs and will grant pass holders a two-week early access for each expansion. Other details for the pass (posted on the Battlefield website) can be found below:
- 16 new multiplayer maps
- New Operations and game modes for more ways to play
- New elite classes to play as
- New vehicles to operate
- 20 new weapons to use
- The ability to play as both fighters from the French and Russian armies
