With all the uncertainty as to whether ID&T’s joint ventures with SFX will go on past the latter company’s bankruptcy restructuring, it’s good to see that Tomorrowland Brasil has come out unscathed. The festival organizers uploaded an official aftermovie for the 2016 edition earlier today, which proves it was just as spectacular an occasion as ever.
After brief interviews with excited attendees, Tomorrowland Brasil’s aftermovie montages aerial, stage and crowd shots together with tracks like Nora En Pure’s “Morning Dew” and “Addiction” by Malaa, Nytron and Alok. Cameos by David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and Alesso are also part of the video and give the whole thing a measure of star power – especially one in which Steve Angello makes a heartfelt announcement to the audience.
Tomorrowland Brasil was one of ID&T’s festival expansions that resulted from EDM conglomerate SFX Entertainment purchasing the company in 2013. However, SFX’s bankruptcy hasn’t resulted in the festival being discontinued, since a Brazilian team that works independently of SFX was allowed to take over operations. And judging by the video above, they’ve done a pretty good job with it – wouldn’t you agree?
