The second Captain America: Civil War trailer arrived yesterday and completely blew our minds. Hero vs. Hero! Friend vs. Friend! And even a surprise appearance by Underoos himself. It was certainly worth the wait.
If we weren’t before, we are now properly psyched for the film, which is the second superhero smash-up movie out this year. Avengers: Age of Ultron might have lost its way a little, what withall the plates it had to spin, but we have faith in the Russo brothers – after the terrific Captain America: The Winter Soldier – that they can deliver something fan-pleasing but also keep it from getting bloated.
[zergpaid]The trailer also shows that the movie will still have a firm focus on Steve Rogers and what he stands for. This isn’t Avengers 3. It’s Captain America 3 but with the Avengers in it. And that’s perfectly fine by us.
So, on that note, here are our ten favourite moments from the trailer; the bits that really hit the spot or got us intrigued to see how it all fits together in the final product.
