Pee-wee Herman, the delightfully chirpy man-child that he is, hatches a plan for a grand adventure in the first full-length trailer for Netflix’s feature, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday.
Having portrayed the character for more than 30 years, Paul Reubens is practically synonymous with the childlike Pee-wee, and today’s snippet only showcases more of that signature, innocent charm. The remainder of the cast will be rounded out by Joe Manganiello (Magic Mike XXL), Alia Shawkat and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Stephanie Beatriz.
As the title suggests, Big Holiday will see Reubens’ character finally journey beyond the idyllic borders of Fairville. Buoyed by his newfound confidence – thanks in no part to Manganiello’s devilishly handsome stranger – he sets out on an impromptu road trip, crossing paths with angry bank robbers along the way.
