Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actress Natalie Dormer (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, The Forest) made an appearance to chat about the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s Game Of Thrones. She doesn’t go out of her way to drop any spoilers, but while being quizzed about finishing up the shoot and the secrecy around the production – particularly in regards to the fate of Jon Snow – she may have inadvertently revealed a little more than she meant to.
Last time we saw Dormer’s character, Margaery Tyrell, she was locked away in a King’s Landing dungeon for incurring the wrath of Cersei Lannister (best to avoid doing that), but she won’t be there much longer from the sounds of things. Dormer reveals that this year she shot in two different locations (Spain and Belfast), which definitely suggests Margaery will be freed at some point.
Dormer also comments on that recent season 6 teaser poster featuring the late Jon Snow, stating that it “maybe gave a little bit of the game away.” I wouldn’t worry too much Natalie, that particular cat’s been out of the bag for a while.
Game Of Thrones returns for season 6 this April.
