8 X-Men Characters Who Need To Be Brought Back To The Big Screen

The first two X-Men movies were superb, but the franchise appeared to be done for after awful releases like X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Thankfully, things started looking up with The Wolverine and turned a major corner with X-Men: Days of Future Past last year (which no doubt had something to do with Bryan Singer returning to the franchise). However, all of those movies made some big mistakes. These were mostly down to how they handled certain characters, with the frequent cameos which were meant to make fans happy turning out to almost always be a disappointment.

That begs the question; which mutant heroes and villains should return somewhere down the line? With Fox expanding the X-Men franchise in a major way through TV shows and spinoffs, there are any number of places these familiar faces could show up, whether they’re played by the same actors or completely recast (which is definitely the best option in some cases).
