The Elder Scrolls Online gets its second expansion pack this November, Bethesda has stated on the game’s website. Titled Orsinium, it will let players return to the homeland of the Orcs for the first time since The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall – which was released almost two decades ago in 1996.
As well as the reveal trailer for the upcoming expansion, Bethesda have also stated that the DLC will be available on the game’s public test servers starting today. PC players will get full access to Orsinium on November 2, but console owners will have to wait until November 18.
For the first time in The Elder Scrolls series since Daggerfall, adventurers can embark on an unforgettable journey to Orsinium, the majestic ancestral home of the Orcs located deep within the mountains of Wrothgar. The second official DLC game pack for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is available today on the ESOTU PTS (Public Test Server) and launches on PC/Mac on November 2, Xbox One on November 17, and PlayStation 4 on November 18. See a glimpse of what awaits you in Orsinium with our latest video:
The largest ESOTU DLC game pack to date, Orsinium takes you to the mountains of Wrothgar, and to the Orc capital itself, to unravel plots and counter-plots, and encounter all-new enemies and allies. Whether you choose to strike out and explore this vast new zone on your own, play through the quests, face the challenges of the Maelstrom Arena, or team up with friends to take on the new public dungeons and world bosses, there’s something here for everyone.
The Orsinium DLC game pack will be accessible at no cost to those who have an active ESO Plus membership; otherwise, it can be purchased for 3,000 crowns in the ESOTU Crown Store. An Orsinium DLC Collector’s Bundle is also available in the Crown Store for 5,000 crowns. The Bundle includes the Orsinium DLC game pack, the Cave Bear Mount, the Cave Bear Cub, and five Crown Experience Scrolls.
The Elder Scrolls Online‘s first expansion – Imperial City – launched back in August, but Bethesda is promising that Orsinium will be their largest DLC pack to date. We’re sure to hear more details on it in the lead up to its release, too, so stay tuned.
