Supermodel and actress Naomi Campbell has joined the burgeoning cast of American Horror Story: Hotel in a multi-episode part.
News come by way of TV Line, who reports that Campbell’s role will be that of a fashion editor who will seemingly go “head to head” with Lady Gaga. Entering its fifth season, Ryan Murphy’s dark and twisted anthology series has only grown in popularity with each new chapter, and the fact that it has the clout to attract true star power in the form of Gaga and Campbell is a testimony to its success on FX.
What will really get fans intrigued, though, is that Campbell’s editor will reportedly “pay the ultimate price for her critiques,” and many of her scenes – due to begin filming next week – will include both Gaga and series veteran Angela Bassett. In a post via Twitter, Campbell expressed her excitement about joining the fray.

Hot off the success of Freak Show, American Horror Story is gearing up for a massive season with Hotel now that both Gaga and Campbell have joined the ranks. In keeping with the show’s self-contained nature, the familiar faces of Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny Denis O’Hare, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe and Matt Bomer will all return – but not as you know them.
With production well underway in Los Angeles, American Horror Story: Hotel is expected to bring the acclaimed series back to FX for season 5 this October.
