Ahead of 20th Century Fox’s Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, posters for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse have been handed out to convention attendees, revealing our first glimpse at the film’s titular villain.
This is just a promo poster, so it doesn’t feature an actual still of Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse, but it does finally give us some idea about how the character will look on screen. He looks very similar to the comic book source material, just with some of the updated changes we’ve come to expect from Singer’s X-Men universe. Isaac himself has teased the the actual costume will feature a blend of CGI and practical effects, and we can’t wait to see what that ends up looking like on screen. Hopefully we’ll find that out when Singer and co. take the Hall H stage this evening.
[zerg]Apart from the Apocalypse reveal, the poster also teases his Egyptian origins with the bordering hieroglyphics and offers a glimpse of the massive destruction that’s long been teased by the film’s producers.
Tell us, what do you think of the promo poster? Check it out below and make sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section.
X-Men: Apocalypse will arrive in theaters on May 27th, 2016.
