Although it looks great and exists as one of Microsoft’s premiere exclusives, Quantum Break will not be shown at next week’s E3. It’s disappointing, especially for those of us who’d hoped to go hands-on with the much talked-about new IP, but it obviously wasn’t meant to be. Instead, the game will be showcased at Gamescom later this summer.
The above news comes to us from a Remedy Entertainment YouTube video, which celebrates the studio’s upcoming twentieth anniversary. In it, Creative Director Sam Lake speaks about the game and his company’s decision to skip E3 in favour of Gamescom. It’s said that, by doing so, they’ll be able to present the public with a demo on Gamescom’s show floor, although it’s unknown whether said preview will be playable or not.
Stay tuned for more information pertaining to Quantum Break, which is expected to release early next year.
