With the heroes in a half-shell laying siege to New York City, producer Michael Bay has shared an image of Stephen Amell as Casey Jones replete with the iconic hockey mask on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.

This is our first official look at the Arrow fan favorite as the beloved vigilante, and it appears that Paramount’s sequel will remain largely faithful to the source material when it comes to Jones’ appearance. Filming got underway in the Big Apple earlier this week, and we’ve since glimpsed some set photos that include Megan Fox, who is on board to reprise her role as reporter April O’Neil, though whether TMNT 2 will have room to explore a potential romance between Fox and Amell’s character remains to be seen.

David Green steps behind the lens for Paramount’s sequel – best known for his work on last year’s low-key sci-fi Earth to Echo – replacing original director Jonathan Liebesman in the process. Green will be working with a script from Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, who also penned the relatively successful original last year.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 has a cast that is growing in numbers by the day. Joining Amell and Fox for the follow-up are Brian Tee, Tyler Perry, supermodel-turned-actress Alessandra Ambrosio and, more recently, The Fifth Estate and Mr. Holmes’ Laura Linney.

Paramount will be hoping that TMNT 2 can eclipse the box office haul of its predecessor, which pulled in an impressive $485 million worldwide haul despite bearing the brunt of middling reviews, when it opens on June 2nd, 2016.
