Titled “PAYDAY,” the electro banger will appear both on Alessandro’s album and in the video game PAYDAY 2. Doing away with vocals (which is surprising given that the producer usually has them in his tracks, at least in some capacity), the song sounds like something out of Swedish House Mafia’s playback. “Greyhound” definitely comes to mind when listening to it and both Ingrosso and Axwell’s influence is felt throughout, which isn’t terribly surprising given how close they are with Alesso.

None of this is to say that “PAYDAY” is a bad track, mind you. Because it’s not. It just steers closer to the “Tear The Roof Up” side of Alesso instead of the more melodic, anthemic side that we’ve been seeing recently.

You can take a listen to “PAYDAY” above and let us know what you think of the latest from Alesso down in the comments section. Do you prefer more vocal driven tracks like “Cool” and “Heroes (we could be),” or are you excited to see the Swedish producer switching it up a bit? Sound off below!
