Developer Undead Labs has offered up new details on when we can expect to see the arrival of open-world survival title State of Decay on Xbox One.

Or, rather, the studio has hinted at when we’ll learn more about the upcoming port, stating that it plans to reveal the release date for the Year One Special Edition during PAX South later this month. In an announcement via the company’s official Facebook page, Undead confirmed the news all the while teasing special bonuses for those that already own the title on Xbox 360 or PC.

“The release date of YOSE (plus answers to at least some of your questions about what we’d like to do for those of you who’ve supported us already) is going to be announced this month. We’ll definitely be talking about everything at PAX South, in Booth #1059, hint, hint, please come see us.”

We first learned about State of Decay‘s journey to Xbox One back in August of last year, and it’s understood the developing team is targeting 1080p visuals in the rerelease as well as bundling together the game’s two expansions, Breakdown and Lifeline. On top of that, Undead have stated that the port will contain an array of new weapons, characters and further enhancements as the company look to take full advantage of Microsoft’s current-gen system.

PAX South is due to take place over the weekend of January 23 to January 25, where we now expect Undead Labs to unveil more information about State of Decay on Xbox One. Stay tuned to We Got This Covered as we’ll have more news pertaining to the post-apocalyptic title as it appears.
