The video game industry’s most comprehensive trailer type has come to Assassin’s Creed: Unity, in the form of the game’s 101 trailer. By watching it, you’ll learn a ton about the historically-focused epic and its Parisian setting, including the fact that it was made by approximately ten studios over a four-year period.
Perhaps the coolest thing that this preview shows is Unity‘s time anomaly system, which forces Arno to jump into unstable rifts that send him to random periods of Parisian history. Only one has been revealed thus far, and it happens to be a WW2-themed variant set in 1944, when German forces occupied the city. Sounds pretty cool, don’t you think?
Assassin’s Creed: Unity will bring its assassinations to next-gen consoles in a week’s time. For now, though, check out the trailer above and let us know if you’ll be picking it up.
