To those of you who say that the zombie genre is getting old, I give you Life After Beth, a very funny and strange zombie romantic comedy (zom-rom-com?) about a young man (The Amazing Spider-Man 2‘s Dane DeHaan) who is overjoyed when his girlfriend (Parks and Recreation‘s Aubrey Plaza) returns from the dead, only to eventually realize that she isn’t the same girl he knew and loved. Now, as the film enters into theaters, we’ve got a great contest for you.
Thanks to Elevation Pictures, We Got This Covered is giving away two (2) run-of-engagement passes to see Life After Beth, which premieres at The Royal on September 5th. Our reviewer Matt Donato handed the film three out of five stars, wildly praising Plaza’s go-for-broke lead performance while commenting that Life After Beth “does suffer from a bit of rigor mortis, bogged down by a silly concept that doesn’t embrace zombie lore for everything it’s worth.” His consensus? “[Jeff] Baena’s film is a bit slow to the punch – but still ends up a winner none the less.”
For a chance to win one of these two ROE passes, all you have to do is like We Got This Covered on Facebook and re-tweet our contest message below. Good luck!
