We all knew it was coming, but EA Sports has now confirmed that Madden NFL 15 will be released on August 26th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Featuring reigning NFL Defensive MVP Luke Kuechly, this first trailer only offers a short glimpse into what the title will look like. As the first entry in the Madden series to be developed for current-gen consoles, instead of being ported over, it will be interesting to see what, if anything, EA Tiburon does with the enhanced power provided.
According to the press release put out by EA, Madden NFL 15 will feature an “entirely new broadcast presentation that delivers Madden NFL game day like never before with dramatic all-new camera angles, as well as dynamic pre-game and halftime features.” The title will also borrow a play from the Super Bowl winning Seattle Seahawks’ playbook and feature “the most immersive defensive gameplay control in franchise history.”
Expect more information to be revealed on Madden NFL 15 on May 8, which is the night of the NFL Draft, as well as on an unspecified date in June, which is hinted at in the trailer.
