Still waiting with baited breath for Ubisoft’s hotly anticipated Watch Dogs? Well, we have some good news. The title is set for release on May 27th and apparently, Playstation 4 owners will be able to purchase the season pass alongside it. Gamestop recently advertised the season pass on their website. However, the page has since been removed, which will leave many fans curious about the DLC’s fate. Fortunately, the screenshot below was captured, giving details about the additional content.
The image depicts the season pass (exclusive to Playstation 4) as being available for download on the same day as the game. Priced at $19.99, players will have “access to a unique Single Player Campaign featuring a new playable character plus more missions, weapons, and exclusive content…” It also boasts that the season pass will save you 30% versus “buying each piece separately.”
Having been in production since 2009, Watch Dogs was originally scheduled as a launch title for the new generation of consoles, but was pushed back by Ubisoft. News also began to circulate in February 2014 that pointed towards fears that the game had been cancelled. However, those rumours were later revealed to be false.
Watch Dogs will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. A Nintendo Wii version is also said to be in the pipeline, though Ubisoft have stated they have yet to confirm a release date, saying that it’s “still on hold.”
