We reported yesterday that Game was being detained by Canadian customs for unknown reasons and would have to cancel his scheduled shows. He tweeted that he would be detained for 14 days, although Canadian border officials claimed that amount of time would not be possible due to Game‘s foreign citizenship.

TMZ reports that a rep for Substance Entertainment Group, the promotion company behind Game‘s Canadian tour, got a call from Canadian customs saying he would be denied entry to Canada “due to new information received that Game is affiliated with organized crime and is an active member of the Bloods street gang.”

The rep claims that concert organizers had secured all permits and approval weeks ago to get Game into the country so this came as a total surprise to all parties involved. TMZ also reported that contrary to his claims of possibly being detained for 14 days, he was released after a few hours and deported back to the United States.
