Jonathan Liebsman’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been shrouded in controversy, thanks to the divisive casting choice of Megan Fox as April O’Neil and leaked details that suggested that the Michael Bay-produced project would be abandoning the “Teenage” and “Mutant” aspects of the characters and giving them an alien origin story.
