Liam Neeson brings his action movie A-game to theatres this weekend once more in the thriller Non-Stop. Set on an airplane that’s flying from New York to London, the film sees Neeson as a U.S. Air Marshal who becomes entangled in a terrorist conspiracy and ultimately, finds himself as the prime suspect.
While most moviegoers might be tired of seeing the 61 year-old actor barking orders, smashing people’s heads in and just being a general badass, Non-Stop is not just another Taken clone. Instead, it’s a clever “Who done it?” story that makes great use of its single setting and excellent supporting cast (Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o, Scoot McNairy and Michelle Dockery, among others). It might not be the most original and well-executed thriller out there, but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t have a ton of fun while watching.
Recently, we had the chance to sit down for a brief, but enjoyable interview with both Neeson and Moore at the film’s NYC press day. During our time with them, they we discussed with us what audiences should to take away from the film, how working together in the past aided their performances this time around, and how Non-Stop has changed their views on flying.
Check it out in the video below and be sure to catch Non-Stop when it flies into theatres this Friday!
