The Elder Scrolls Online Doesn’t Require PS Plus

It has been confirmed today that The Elder Scrolls Online will not require you to have a PlayStation Plus membership to access it. It will, however, require a monthly subscription (which we already knew). Taking to the PlayStation Blog, director Matt Firor also revealed that North American and Europe will each have their own dedicated server for the PS4 version and these will be separate from the dedicated servers being used for Windows PC and Mac.

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not much of an MMO fan, but The Elder Scrolls Online does have my attention. It’s shaping up to be a pretty promising experience and given the fact that it’s part of The Elder Scrolls series (which I generally enjoy), I might just find myself sinking some significant time into it upon its release.

The Elder Scrolls Online will launch for the PC and Mac on April 4th with a next-gen console release to follow in June.
