Coming to us from Celeste and Jesse Forever director Lee Toland Krieger, The Age of Adaline has just added Harrison Ford to its cast. The actor will co-star alongside Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn in the upcoming supernatural romance film, which tells the story of a 29 year-old woman (Lively) who, after she recovers from a terrible accident, realizes that she has stopped aging. She then sets out on an “epic journey” and meets a man (Ford) who “forever alters her life.”
You can check out what Lakeshore and Lionsgate had to say about Ford’s casting in the press release below:
“We are very excited to be working with Harrison Ford,” said Lakeshore president Lucchesi. “He’s one of the great actors of our time.”
“We are absolutely thrilled to have such a talented superstar as Harrison Ford join this project and can’t wait for production to get underway,” said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-chairs Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger.
With principle photography set to begin in March, I would expect The Age of Adaline to arrive either in late 2014 or early 2015. We’ll keep you posted when we hear more.
