While fans across the world await the official confirmation that Fallout 4 is in development, Bethesda Softworks is preparing to disclose their next game to a few playtesters in the Dallas/Forth Worth area.

The studio recently revealed their need for additional playtesters on their website, with an application page that details all the requirements for the “strictly… voluntary,” unpaid, non-employment position. All applicants must be US residents, 18 years of age or older, who can provide their own “transportation to the play test.” Not surprisingly, Bethesda is also requiring all testers to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which in theory will prevent leaked information from making its way to the Internet.

Nothing on the application page directly links the upcoming playtest to the next Fallout game, however, the fact that this discovery follows the new survivor2299 website and the recent trademark application for Fallout 4 has added some additional fuel to the speculation wildfire.

We may never know if the new Dallas/Forth Worth area playtesters got their hands on Fallout 4 or not, but there is one thing that we can absolutely be sure of. Considering the state that the average Bethesda RPG is initially released in, those poor testers certainly have their work cut out for them.
