BandFuse: Rock Legends, Realta Entertainment’s music game that makes use of real guitar and bass, is now available in stores for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game, originally announced early last year, ships with a USB cable that also plugs into the 1/4″ jack on many electric guitar and bass instruments, and makes use of in-game animated tablature to challenge players to recreate 55 various songs, ranging in genre from rock to metal to punk and funk.
The game’s setlist includes the likes of Maroon 5, Rush, The Strokes, Heart, Halestorm, Pearl Jam, and many more, with additional tracks being planned as future downloadable content. Besides iconic tracks, the game offers an in-depth series of video tutorials hosted by the likes of such iconic rockers as Slash, Zakk Wylde, and Bootsy Collins.
Up to four players can perform at once, with support for two guitars, one bass, and a singer via microphone. Those who don’t have all the necessary supplies can choose between three retail package options:
- The Artist Pack ($69.99 MSRP) includes the BandFuse: Rock Legends game and 1/4” to USB guitar cable (Xbox 360 also contains an Audio Adapter and headphone extension).
- The Band Pack ($79.99 MSRP) includes two guitar cables, microphone, 4-port USB hub, and an acoustic guitar adapter. BandFuse: Rock Legend game sold separately.
- The Guitar Bundle ($179.99 MSRP) sold exclusively through Guitar Center, includes the BandFuse: Rock Legends game, guitar cable, and an authentic Fender Squier Bullet guitar.
Finally, a launch trailer was also released today, which can be viewed below.
