During a recent appearance on the U.K. chatfest The Graham Norton Show, Harrison Ford curmudgeonly downplayed any involvement in the soon-to-shoot and hotly anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII.

Appearing on the talk show to promote his starring role in the soon-to-be-released Ender’s Game, Ford (as he seemingly always does when Star Wars is the topic) appears to go to the Dark Side when Graham inquired about his rumored appearance in the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed sequel; stating evasively that “he had not quite made the choice.”

With production for Episode VII scheduled to commence in January 2014, it is indeed strange that we have yet to receive confirmation (or denials for that matter) as to who from the original trilogy will be asked to reprise their roles.

Ford’s reluctance to divulge substantive information regarding his participation in the Star Wars sequel could just be a clever ploy on his part, and his slippery non-commitment would synchronize nicely with the blanket-of-secrecy which cloaks all productions that emanate from Camp Abrams.

When the conversation turned to Indiana Jones, however, Ford’s demeanor became downright affable, as he exclaimed that he’d don the fedora and whip for another go-round as the adventure-seeking, globe-hopping archaeologist “in a New York minute.” For me, at least, that is cause for celebration, as it would be quite the shame if the Jones’ franchise came to an unceremonial end after the dismally received Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

What do you think? Will Harrison Ford return to the big screen as both Han Solo and Indiana Jones in the near future? Let us know your opinions in the comment section below.
