Over the weekend, on August 6th to be exact, U2 relaunched their 360 tour. The band had to take a break while they waited for their singer Bono to recover from surgery but they’re back now. The tour returned on August 6th and as a present to their fans, the band performed two new songs as well as a performance of their song ‘Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me’, a song that is rarely played live.
The two new songs are titled Glastonbury and North Star and from what I’ve heard, they both sound great. The videos aren’t perfect quality but you can still make out the music and lyrics. I’m looking forward to hearing better quality versions of both songs. Hopefully we won’t have to wait long.
The ‘Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me’ performance was previously announced but it was still a nice surprise. It’s one of my favorite U2 songs and it was great to see them preforming it live.
