The Arkham games have been some of the best to come out this generation. Easily the best comic book games ever made, you actually feel like the Caped Crusader himself.
There was enough attention to detail to appease even the most dedicated of comic book fans, but it also left the door wide open for casual fans to jump right in. Batman: Arkham Origins will be a prequel to the other two, and is the first of the series not to be developed by Rocksteady. Based on this new trailer though, Warner Bros. Montreal is staying true to what made the first two games great.
Everything about the game seems a bit grittier and Batman himself seems…well angrier. I mean, come on man, he just dropped a dude on a Christmas tree. That’s not exactly going along with the holiday spirit. I’m not really sure what it is, maybe it’s the new toys and gadgets, but there’s something about this younger Batman that just feels more dangerous.
Going further, Sony also announced that the PS3 version will have a few exclusives, namely the Nightfall DLC and the 1960s Batman costume.
Batman: Arkham Origins comes out worldwide on October 25th. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
