Bethesda Softworks has announced that Dunwall City Trials, the first piece of downloadable content for Dishonored, will launch in two weeks (December 11th) on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $4.99/400 Microsoft Points.
Once downloaded Dunwall City Trials adds 10 challenge maps to Dishonored that will “test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills”. Players will need to use all their weapons, equipment, and powers to kill as many targets as possible, fight waves of enemies, and “take out targets in a non-stop run of drop assassinations”. The DLC also adds a global online leaderboard and some new achievements/trophies for all of the right-thinking gamers who are interested in that sort of thing.
Bethesda previously announced that they are planning two additional Dishonored DLC packs that will follow the release of Dunwall City Trials next month. The second pack will launch in “early Spring 2013” and centers around Duad, “the leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as The Whalers”. The third bit of DLC has not yet been detailed but it is also scheduled for release sometime next year.
While we wait for more information on the second and third DLC packs, check out the first set of screenshots for Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials in the gallery below.
