While the PlayStation 3 version of Insomniac Games’ latest title, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, is still scheduled for a simultaneous retail and digital release on November 27 for $20, the promised Cross Buy function that enables customers to also receive a copy of the game for the Vita will have to wait a bit longer.

Sony confirmed today that in order to provide “the best gameplay experience possible”, the Vita version of the game has been delayed to January. It’s unfortunate that players won’t be able to play the game on the go for a few months, but it’s better than the Vita version being released incomplete and buggy. Hopefully the developers at Tin Giant, who are making the Vita version, will put extra care and polish into the game over that period.

We will keep you updated on the Ratchet & Clank series as more news is announced.
