The revamped PlayStation Store has gone live in North America today, bringing with it improved search features and a new user interface for browsing games, movies, TV Shows and other content.
Initially the new PlayStation Store was scheduled to roll out on October 23rd in North America but was delayed after massive technical issues halted its European launch. Some of the biggest errors reported during that roll out included; PlayStation Plus members not being recognized as such, download failures after purchases were made, and the inability to add funds to the wallet.
The store’s bugs were cleared up on October 22nd, and we can only hope that Sony preemptively fixed all those same issues prior to today’s North American launch.
