Capcom announced this morning at Gamescom that they will be publishing Paris-based Dontnod Entertainment’s next game, Remember Me, a third-person action adventure title set to release in May of next year for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
First revealed last year under the working title Adrift, Remember Me is set in 2084 Neo Paris and has players take the role of Nilin, “an elite memory hunter” who can hack into the minds of other people to steal or change their memories. One day Nilin finds herself on the receiving end of a memory wipe, and must fight to reclaim her identity and “discover how she can change the world”.
Check out Remember Me‘s first screenshots and announcement trailer down below. As you can see, the game seems to have some brawler aspects, mixed with platforming, and a Deus Ex-type setting.
