Why has the 22-year-old murder case of Ashton Kutcher’s girlfriend joined the Danny Masterson controversy?
Danny Masterson will face a potential sentence of 30 years to life in prison after being found guilty for two counts of rape. So why are people bringing up Ashton Kutcher's former girlfriend?
Kutcher ended up writing a letter of support for Masterson, with the two co-starring in
That '70s Show
The letter was criticized by Chrissie Carnell Bixler, one of Masterson's accusers.
In an Instagram post, Carnell Bixler made a cryptic reference to knowing about "secrets" and hearing Kutcher on speaker phone with Masterson on February 21, 2001.
Feb. 21, 2001 happens to be the day that Kutcher was supposed to go on a date with a former girlfriend.
However, that date never happened and it turned out 22-year-old Ashley Ellerin had been stabbed to death by someone else.
In fact, it was due in part to Kutcher's 2019 testimony that Michael Thomas Gargiulo, AKA "The Hollywood Ripper" received the death setence in 2021 for two murders, including Ellerin's.
