Gird your loins, Marvel fans — the star of the Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again has shared some illuminating information about the MCU show that we can safely assume is not the news you hoped to receive today. Meanwhile, The Little Mermaid continues to soar to new heights (swim to new depths?) in the eyes of fans after Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King share behind-the-scenes details that make it that much harder not to praise their versions of Ariel and Prince Eric over the Disney animation.

Arguably one of the most exciting Disney Plus shows Marvel has in the pipeline, Daredevil: Born Again will see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprise their roles as Matt Murdock and Kingpin, but that’s about as far as the continuation goes according to D’Onofrio. In a recent interview, the Wilson Fisk actor confirmed our worst fears about the 18-episode Disney Plus series, saying, “It’s not the Netflix show.” Welp, there goes that. Let’s just hope that Disney’s family-friendly influence doesn’t ruin it entirely; we can only give so much grace.

Halle Bailey and Jonah Hauer-King prove their chemistry is unparalleled in behind-the-scenes factoid

There was a lot riding on The Little Mermaid to dispel the universal opinion that Disney has no business remaking our beloved classics into live-action films. However, it can’t be argued that Halle Bailey’s Ariel and Jonah Hauer-King’s Prince Eric have an electrifying chemistry that oozes off the screen. It trumps the animation; there’s no question about it. As it turns out, that chemistry was as natural as the air we breathe; both actors revealed the “Kiss the Girl” scene was actually the very first scene they shot together. The fans, needless to say, were floored.

Rotten reviews or not, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is just one month away, so here are some new character posters

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is now exactly a month away, so what better way to celebrate the occasion than with brand-new character posters? Disney unveiled the exclusive look on Twitter, giving us a sneak peek at Mads Mikkelsen as the former Nazi Jürgen Voller, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Indy’s goddaughter Helena Shaw, Antonio Banderas as Indy’s old friend Renaldo, Ethann Isidore as Helena’s sidekick Teddy, Shaunette Renée Wilson as the U.S. government agent Mason, and Toby Jones as Indy’s WWII buddy Basil Shaw. Although the film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival with a less-than-stellar reception and an even more rotten critical score on Rotten Tomatoes, personally I’m still excited. As for Harrison Ford, he couldn’t care less if his legacy becomes making unnecessary sequels; to him, the film is magic. That’s enough for me.
