You know the drill by know; Netflix will add a serial killer thriller to the content library, and subscribers will flock to it in their droves to continue feeding our unsettling collective obsession with mass murder and mayhem. Even the bad ones can draw in big numbers on the platform, which is just as well when Operation Mayfair has been taking a pounding.

Currently bearing a worrying IMDb score of jut 2.7/10 and a 1.1/5 median on Google Play, it doesn’t sound outwith the realms of possibility to put director Sudipto Sarkar’s London-set crime story forth as the subgenre’s worst effort of 2023 so far.
