The 44th season of Survivor finished airing and proclaimed its newest sole survivor. Four castaways competed during the last three days on the island, playing the final reward and immunity challenge for a chance to win the top spot, and this season’s top four finalists are an interesting bunch.
One of the finalists was Carson Garrett, who originally was part of the Tika Tribe before moving to Ratu, then Va Va during the merger. He won eight challenges throughout the 44th season, and was voted against twice in the show. In case you haven’t noticed, he looks quite young compared to the other contestants during the finale. So how old is Garrett during his time on Survivor?
How old is Carson on Survivor?
Carson Garrett is indeed the youngest out of the four castaways during Survivor 44‘s season finale. According to his profile that was shared onĀ Entertainment Weekly, he’s a NASA Engineering Student in Atlanta, Georgia. His statement about how his life experience prepared him for the reality game show was about a project he had to do during his training. Meanwhile, most contestants shared tragedies and hardships that they were able to overcome.
During the broadcast of Survivor 44, Garret was 20 years old, making him the youngest contestant of the season. Of course, just because he’s young, doesn’t mean he should be looked down upon. After all, he won eight challenges, as well as three immunity challenges after the tribes merged halfway through the season.
Garrett was the youngest to compete on Survivor 44, but he didn’t let his age stop him from making it to the finals. While it’s unfortunate that he only lasted for 25 days on the island, the fact he was able to last that long at all is an achievement in itself.
