With an impressive filmography attached to her name, Ana de Armas is undoubtedly on the path to superstardom, if she isn’t there already. While there are quite a lot of projects where she made a memorable appearance, it was arguably Knives Out which had the most positive impact on her career catapulting, her to international fame and recognition.
Playing a suspected maidservant caught in a whirlpool of traps and plots following the death of the wealthy novelist, de Armas delivers a brilliant performance opposite the movie’s protagonist, Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc.
While Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery once again revolves around the mysterious world of murder and deceit, this time we encounter a group of fresh A-listers gracing the screen, replacing the cast of the previous movie; which also includes the female de Armas’ Marta.
So, when the 34-year-old Ghosted actor was asked about the possible reason for her absence, her answer was, “I really don’t know. I want Rian Johnson to tell me why I’m not in Knives Out 2.” The response befuddled a wide range of fans who were quick to point out her lack of understanding of the obvious connection between the two films.
It’s a different story with a whole new cast why the hell would she be in it 😭😭😭 https://t.co/NM9xyz6zn7
