Despite a lack of progress, the campaign is still going strong, and showrunner Simon Barry is throwing his full support behind its ongoing efforts.

It’s been months since Netflix canceled Warrior Nun, and each day that passes without a renewal lessens the show’s chances more. Fans are desperate to see the fantasy series return for a third season, but they’ll need a streamer — Netflix or an alternative — to pick the series up for that to happen. But not Simon Barry, the show’s former showrunner and an adamant supporter of the ongoing efforts to see Warrior Nun return. He noted, in a recent tweet, that — should the show get picked back up — it will be due to fan efforts, and urged supporters to keep soldiering on.
