Jeremy Renner appears to be slowly but surely recovering from his near-fatal snowplow accident, with the star sharing a promising update about his recovery to his Instagram story and Twitter feed.
In the clip, the MCU’s Hawkeye is seen on an anti-gravity treadmill which supports a large percentage of the actor’s weight as he builds strength back up in his legs so he can get up and about again:
Renner appears to be in good spirits, enthusiastic and energetic in the short clip, engaging in a conversation about his experience on the rehabilitation device. “It’s like having a cane,” Renner notes as he takes strides. While the audio is tricky to hear, Renner also mentions the device may be supporting 40 percent of his weight.
Considering that close to three months ago the man had broken upwards of 30 bones in his body, it’s encouraging to see Jeremy Renner back up on his feet, even in this assisted capacity.
Just two days into 2023, Jeremy Renner was run over by his own snowplow when he was clearing the road near his residence. Despite the machine nearly taking his life, he seemed surprisingly enthusiastic about reclaiming it from the local authorities.
While he continues to recover, Renner has still been doing his job as an actor to the best of his abilities, promoting the recent release of the third season of Mayor of Kingstown, in which he stars.
