Hard to believe it’s been 37 years since the classic film Back to the Future was originally released, but time is a brutal mistress and here we are. The film, which was a hit when it came out, has ascended to the realm of pop culture legend and doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, as evidenced by a recent reunion of the cast.

That’s right, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox), Doc Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), Lorraine Baines-McFly (Lea Thompson), and Biff Tannen (Tom Wilson) all got together at a recent FAN EXPO in Oregon.

“Wow honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family,” Thompson said on social media about the event. “So many fun fan moments too.”

She shared numerous photos of the event and some quick videos too, like one with Lloyd where she said “Look what the cat dragged in,” she said to Lloyd during an embrace. “Yup,” he said.

She also had a fun moment with Wilson as he demonstrated his famous “Hello, anybody home,” line from the movie and then said, “think, Lea, think.”

The movie made almost $400 million on a budget of $19 million and spawned two sequels – Back to the Future Part II in 1989 and Back to the Future Part III in 1990. It’s also inspired countless pop culture entities, including the incredibly popular animated show Rick and Morty, which used the young high schooler and grumpy grandfather-scientist type as a springboard for some equally incredible storytelling.

The trilogy was recently remastered in 4K Ultra HD and is available for purchase or digital download.
