The various social media channels of Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero, Academy Award winner, and stream-of-consciousness expert Brie Larson give off the carefully-curated vibe of someone who’s aiming for quirky and largely succeeding, but it’s often difficult to argue with some of the points being made by the A-list superstar.
Pairing crocs with her underwear was nothing if not a fashion choice, but it was nonetheless one that took the internet by storm. This time, though, the 32 year-old is feeling altogether more frustrating – and it’s all to do with the baking hot Los Angeles sun that continues to sizzle the sidewalks halfway through October.
Asking her millions of Twitter followers a highly important question, the Captain Marvel headliner demanded to know if the leaves ever turn brown and drop to bring the year’s penultimate season to the baking climes of LA.
Maybe she’ll get her answer soon enough, but for the time being, Larson looks to be doing just fine chilling poolside. Everyone has a soft spot for fall, not least of all because it brings the spookiest day of the year along for the ride, but Halloween doesn’t exactly have the same effect when you’re sweating buckets under a hot and heavy costume.
Either way, we can no doubt expect more update from Larson depending on whether or not the weather changes, but having been battling against her MCU trolls on a regular basis since opting to take them on at their own game, we’re inclined to say she deserves a rest.
