There have been plenty of bad films over the years, and many of these have fallen under the comedy genre, however, one movie fan isn’t looking for any “fun” films, they want the worst of the worst.
In a post to Reddit, one movie fan tempted the film gods by finding the worst comedy film of all time. The post called for Redditors to share their suggestions for the worst comedy movie there is, but there were parameters set.
“Not a “so bad it’s good” comedy, not even an aggressively mediocre and otherwise forgettable comedy, but just an irredeemable pile. I want to watch 90+ minutes of joke after joke falling flat. Shit that Friedberg and Seltzer would have axed. What is the lowest of the low? Direct-to-video and direct-to-streaming is welcomed.”
With these being the only guidelines, as you’d expect there were plenty of names thrown out, and no holds barred. From heartbreaking sequels to classic films, forgotten spoof titles from the mid ‘2000s, and even films from YouTube icons, here’s what movie fans had to offer.
