Lionsgate will be bringing the latest Amanda Seyfried thriller Gone to Blu-Ray in May.
If you’re looking for one of the worst films of the year and possibly of the last 5 years, then you’ll want to pick up Gone when it hits Blu-Ray this May. Not only is the film predictable and poorly acted, but it’s also too long and lacks any real structure.
Amanda Seyfried does nothing to show that she can actually act and the rest of the cast tries their best to play a Lifetime Channel detective. It’s the kind of film that you wouldn’t expect to see on the big screen, let alone a wide release.
The film came out back in February and was quickly dismissed by audiences around the world. I’m surprised Lionsgate is even bothering with a home video release for this flick.
Our very own David Wangberg had this to say about the film in his review:
With Gone, Seyfried has made another bad decision and I fear her career won’t go much farther if she continues to do films like this.
Tech specs or bonus features haven’t been confirmed, but who really cares?
Gone will hit shelves on May 29th, 2012.
