Teaming up with friends to tackle 50 waves of enemies is almost always a recipe for a fun time. That is, unless one of those members decides to sabotage the operation during its later stages. As a result, it’s not surprising that Ubisoft has decided to add a Horde-like multiplayer mode into Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
The development team’s brand new reveal happens to be known as Guerrilla Mode, which will allow four players to occupy a village that is under attack. They must work together to defeat baddies, while attempting to take over the enemy’s HQ, where new waves will spawn against them. All the while, streak rewards will drop down from the sky. Whether you’re playing over an online network, as LAN partners or using split-screen, scoring the most points possible is the key to becoming the victor. That, as well as defeating all 50 waves.
Guerrilla Mode is detailed in the game’s latest Inside Recon developer diary, which you’ll find below.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be see a console release on May 22nd.
